MISSION
We believe in Myanmar

We are confident in the potential of Myanmar food products that are made with the highest attention to detail and quality, while at the same time enriching and giving back to the communities that produce them. With a population of more than 50 million people and 100 different national groups with a distinctive language or dialect, the country’s production of 100% natural premium commodities, including Myanmar honey, are just as diverse.

A country with rich bountiful natural resources, KeKokua Group envisions a future when Myanmar food products will be well known and beloved locally and abroad. We also hope to serve as a leader and resource for companies interested in responsible food production, where through its model of competitive compensation, capacity building and education, the surrounding community of local companies, farmers, beekeepers and other providers can learn and grow to their fullest potential.

Calvin is passionate about social causes. Most recently, Calvin delivered disaster relief supplies for both Cyclone Nargis and Komen, travelling to some of the most affected areas in Myanmar.

Calvin was previously Manager for Shine Professional Dry Clean & Laundry Services, Myanmar’s most established and largest professional laundry service provider, which currently operates 21 retail outlets, and services 100+ hotels and restaurants in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw.

Swe Zin Lin is incredibly proud and excited to be part of a company that champions high quality Myanmar food, while enriching local communities.

While working at the Great Wall Wide Industry Knitting company, Swe Zin studied part time and graduated from Dagon University with a degree in English Soon after, Daw Swe Zin joined RVi Centre Yangon as a student services officer where she was responsible for the entire registration, event planning, administrative and marketing process for the organization.

Swe Zin Lin is incredibly proud and excited to be part of a company that champions high quality Myanmar food, while enriching local communities.

Soe Thu’s passion for beekeeping has led him to becoming a highly respected leader and expert of the field of beekeeping in Myanmar with more than 40 years of experience. Soe Thu hopes to highlight the vast selection of fine honey that Myanmar has to offer while casting a spotlight on consistently overlooked small scale beekeepers.

Soe Thu left his career in the army to become a professional beekeeper. Throughout his career, bee keeping had always been a hobby and had led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in Zoology (with a focus on Entomology). His further his knowledge of entomology with the Ohio State Agricultural Technical Institute, the largest institution of its kind in the United States.

Win Zaw Thein takes pride in bringing awareness of Myanmar honey and other local products.

Win Zaw Thein has over fifteen years of experience working in various technical and supervisory positions in Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar. He began his career in Singapore as an operator in charge of quality control for High Tech Plastic Manufacturing & Trading followed by different positions in the electrical and engineering fields in Myanmar and Malaysia.

Win Zaw Thein takes pride in bringing awareness of Myanmar honey and other local products.

Win Zaw Thein has over fifteen years of experience working in various technical and supervisory positions in Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar.
